Alexander Forbes Group Holdings Limited (JSE: AFH) is opening its corporate base to Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) in South Africa, as part of the company’s vision to help clients achieve a lifetime of financial well-being and security.

Andrew A. Darfoor, the Group Chief Executive says qualifying IFAs will through Alexander Forbes’ integrated advice platform, gain access to over 1,800 corporate clients across the areas of employee benefits, investments and insurance (both long term and short term).

“Selected IFAs will now through this unique partnership model with Alexander Forbes, gain access to a wide range of solutions and our financial well-being strategy. The intent is to allow IFAs full access to our intellectual capital that will help them better serve customers’ through the lens of not only improved understanding of current financial needs, but more importantly an aligned approach to improving long-term financial outcomes. Participating IFAs now have the unique opportunity to benefit from our advice led financial well-being solutions that span across worksite, member education and seminars,” Darfoor says.

In enhancing their businesses, he says participating IFAs will also get access to Alexander Forbes Investments’ flagship investment portfolio, Performer, which has in excess of R100 billion of assets under management and administration.The Performer investment portfolio forms part of Alexander Forbes Investments’ proposition “Living*Investing” which integrates all investments capabilities across the Group and is focused on outcomes based investing for clients.
