Underscoring the vital need to protect customers’ data and identity, Old Mutual is investing in the best technology with key partnerships concluded with Ping Identity, the Intelligent Identity solution for the enterprise and Altron Security.
The Ping Intelligent Identity™ platform provides customers, workforce, and partners with access to cloud, mobile, SaaS and on-premises applications across the hybrid enterprise. Ping Identity’s solutions will enable Old Mutual to migrate away from their existing identity management, allowing for a dramatic change to customer experience, security and speed of delivery.
Altron Security will be responsible for modernising Old Mutual’s existing identity management across digital channels by implementing components such as customer registration, profiling, strong authentication, federation, and consent management. “Customers today demand both great customer experience, combined with strong security. As cybercrime increases globally, we are continuously evolving our systems and processes to adapt to new threats. It remains Old Mutual’s top priority to safeguard our customer’s information and to be a certain friend in uncertain times. Our investment in the partnerships with Ping Identity and Altron Security is yet another commitment from Old Mutual to our customers safety,” says Kerissa Varma, Old Mutual CISO.
“In a world of remote users and cloud-based assets, Zero Trust is an evolving security paradigm that narrows defences from wide network perimeters to individuals. Ping Identity will leverage the rich identity information from Old Mutual to provide a secure and consistent authentication and authorisation platform that will prevent access by users that pose real danger to Old Mutual,” said Altron Security MD, Marius Agenbag.
“In order to remain competitive, all companies need to rethink the customer login experience to provide a solution that is both secure and seamless. We are proud to partner with Altron to help Old Mutual provide a solution for customers to connect, transact, and engage in a secure and seamless environment,” said Andre Durand, CEO, Ping Identity.
