Corporate Image is one of South Africa’s leading communications consultancies. Formed in 1987 and operating independently, we have been extensively involved over the years in the financial services; food and beverage; agriculture; retail; telecommunications and technology; and leisure and entertainment industries. 

The company has a core competence and competitive advantage in reputation building and management, and in crisis communications, and a strong yet broad-based blue-chip client list that includes some of South Africa’s largest companies, most of which are JSE-listed.

We are renowned for our excellent C-suite relationships and the provision of well-considered strategic counsel to Chief Executives, Excos and other executives at large, listed companies over the years. Agency staff have direct and intimate (not arm’s length) knowledge of working in African countries for the past two decades.

Corporate Image is based in both Johannesburg and Cape Town. Our administrative headquarters are in Cape Town, with a larger pool of Account Directors in Johannesburg.

International

Corporate Image has an international representative office in London.

We are also a member of the Compass Network, an independent global PR network, representing the best global PR consultancies that work across a range of companies, from well-established international brands to young start-ups. This network extends across EMEA, the US, South America, and APAC.

Africa experience

Our Managing Director, Tamra Veley, has directly executed reputation and strategic communication management work in more than 12 African countries during the last decade alone. We have affiliate agencies in ten African countries – Zambia, Malawi, Namibia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, Uganda, Namibia, Lesotho and Mauritius, and close working relationships with professionals in many more countries throughout the continent.

Corporate Image has conducted media training and crisis simulation exercises in Mozambique, Tanzania, Nigeria, Zambia and Botswana in the past year. Further in-country experience includes Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Angola, Moçambique, Morocco, and the DRC.
